Our review process is designed to be thoughtful, respectful, and aligned with our organizational values.

Here is what to expect:
Submitting this application is the first step toward becoming part of our Volunteer Network. After your application is reviewed, eligible applicants will be invited to participate in an interview with members of our Board. If moving forward, you will be asked to complete a vulnerable sector and background check. A mandatory volunteer training session will then be offered to support a shared understanding of our values, standards, and practices.
Upon successful completion of all steps, you will be welcomed into our Volunteer Network. We are committed to a trauma-informed, inclusive, healing centred, and non-judgmental process that honours diverse experiences, healing paths, and ways of contributing.
We deeply value the contributions of volunteers with lived and living experience. Your insight, resilience, and voice are essential to shaping safer, more responsive spaces for healing and community care. If you are comfortable disclosing your experience, it can help us offer appropriate support and opportunities aligned with your strengths and boundaries.
